VMware vRealize Orchestrator is an IT process automation tool that allows automated management and operational tasks across both VMware and third-party applications.

The XtremIO Workflows for vRealize Orchestrator facilitates the automation and orchestration of tasks that involve the XtremIO Storage Array. It augments the capabilities of VMware’s vRealize Orchestrator solution by providing access to XtremIO Storage Array-specific management workflows

The XtremIO workflows for VMware vRealize Orchestrator contain both basic and high level workflows.

A basic workflow is a workflow that allows for the management of a discrete piece of XtremIO functionality, such as Consistency Groups, Clusters, Initiator Groups, Protection Schedulers, Snapshot Sets, Tags, Volumes, RecoverPoint and XMS Management.

Here is one of the simple day to day storage automation tasks through the XtremIO workflow in vRO

Once you execute this workflow with some basic input information such as name of volume, size of volume etc. You should be able to see the Volume created in the XtremIO
